Multiplication

 I did multiplication with a group.

Multiplication is a faster way to add up the same number many times.

First I took a big group of counter of a unknown amount. Next I split the unknown amount into a small group 5. Then I counted the small group with 5. There were 8 groups of five.

Lastly I made rectangle with the counter and used multiplication to find out the unknown amount which was 40.

I enjoyed using multiplication because it is faster to add the same number many times.
