I read a book called ninja kid 5 Illustrated by Anh Do.

I did a sheet called ssr selfe and did a sentence of what the character is and what happened so far.

I like this book because it show how the disaster happen.

 I completed basic facts challenge called speed demon challenge.

I started to do the speed demon challenge, I timed myself and did it up to ten.

I think that I need to to go up to a higher level so I can get better.

What are the three simple machines?  The three simple machines are the wheel and axle, pulley, screw.

They are similar because they twist and move things.

 There are three similar simple machines which are the lever, wedge and the inclined plane.

Cause and Effect

 I learned about cause and effect.

I attempted that effect is something that happened and cause is why did it happened.

I completed a task that is about cause and effect and I had to practise the cause and effect.

Then I wote down a sentence that matched the two picture and put the sentence together and I did it on the other three.

I like doing this activiy because I learned what cause and effect was and what the meaning was.

A key word show a lot of meaning in a text.

I think that I need go up to the subtraction because I got 100/100 and for the time I got 4 minute 47 second.

Introductionan

 I learned about introduction. 

I recalled what an Explanation tell how thing work.

I watched a video that is about how popcorn pops.

I figured out what an introduction is. A introduction tell the reader what is being writen.

I like this lesson because I learned what an introduction. Next I what to know what a mechanisms is.

Key Word

 I learn about key words.

I had to find key words in a book called shark. The key words are like the main work or the word that are important.

I did the task and I had to get 4 key word from the book and I used the key word for main thing that you are doing. The three key words are Cartilage,skeletons,,grooved,scales swim faster,endemic, Species,patterns,gills,predators, estuaries,nursery,salinity.

I like doing this activity because I learn about what are key words and the meaning.

Time Difference

I learn about time difference.

Time difference is subtracing the number and then I did a task that is about time difference.

Then I did the task and complele the task, the four important part of the clock is the tall and skinn y hand is the minute hand, the small and fat hand is the hour hand, the big number on the clock counts the hour and the small number on the clock counts the minute.

I think I need to practise more because I don't know my time difference that much.

Manners used to say kind words like please, thank you and eye contact .

Manners are used when someone gets hurt you say sorry. 

When you want something you say please.

When you want to go somewhere you say may I. 

When greating someone you use eye contact. 

      

Problem Solving

 Today we were doing a task that is about solving the time.

First I did the problem solving task and answer the questions. Then we started wtring the sentence of how we figured the out the answer

I like this task because I learned how to solve the time.

Simple Machines

There are six simple machines that we found in the school.

Maori

I learned how to say 3 prepositions.

I learned tenei, tena and tera. Tenei means here, tena means there, and tera means over there.

I think I need to know more of the maori word so I get better at saying maori word.

Balancing

We learned about balancing.

First we went outside LS1 and balance on a pillar. 

Then we went to the senior park and took photo of balancing on the senior park equipment. After my group balanced on the senior  playground with one person standing on two people to balance. 

I think I need to practice on balancing because balancing is standing on one leg and easy to lose balance.

Maori Country Names

I learn about maori country names.

I learn about maori country names and english country name.

First I did maori country names and the english country names and I put them togther to match. Then I did the answering questions at the top.

I like this activty because I learn about the maori country names.  

Time

I learned about telling the Time.

The small and fat hand is the hour hand and tall and skinny is minute hand.

First I look at the hour hand and the hour hand was at 2. Then I look at the minute hand and the minute hand was at 58 and that makes 2:58.

I like this activity because it tell me the time and I learnt some of the time.

 Simple Machines are used to make moving objects quicker and easier to finsh the work. 

There are six simple machines:

HPE/Balancing Skill

I learnt about how to balance.  

Balancing is a skill that you balance with out any one pushing you over and balancing with one leg.

Then we play balance beam, you had to balance without toching the ground and you have to have two or more people on the beam. 

After that we did a other activity was balance on a soccer ball. We had to balance on the ball and two other people have to hold on to the hand.

I thought that balance beam was easy because I thought that we had to get to the other side one by one.

Predicting

I learned that predicting is guessing what will happen.

I made predictions about the information in the book Winter Sports.

Prediction is a little hard because I don't know what will happen in the book.
